Solarpedia is the first collaborative encyclopedia, English, free and exclusively dedicated to solar energy, developed by students of the Solar Energy Master Degree at the University of Perpignan (France): Vincent Demeusy and Feyswal Assiandi.

From passive solar design to photovoltaics through solar thermal, Solarpedia promote this formidable energy that comes from the Sun. The democratization of the resulting technologies, still wrongly considered emerging, can only be done through the development of knowledge sharing in the field. Solarpedia is much more than a simple encyclopedia, you will find articles written collectively by a community of enthusiasts, a multitude of videos, news, a directory of the different actors and many others resources!

Solarpedia lives only by the contributions from actors in the community, everyone is invited to contribute to this project and to better disseminate knowledge on solar energy by developing articles based on the three main. All articles are written cooperatively and are freely reusable under license Creative Commons BY-SA 3.0.

The website is constantly improving, so we ask you to be lenient towards our dear moderators, but do not hesitate to trace their every remark or even to share it with the community.

Solarpedia has aimed to create a real community of mutual help and sharing to promote and develop in a sustainable manner the great potential of solar energy.

Solarpedia is still in its beginning, so expect in other news! So embark on the adventure and talk about it!
